Welcome to the Muslim Students’ Association of West Virginia University!

Founded in 1975, we have since been an active student organization with the following mission:

· Serving the WVU Muslim students and community by helping them to strengthen their faith and practice of Islam and creating a strong feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood among them

· Promoting greater understanding about Islam and dispel misconceptions existing among Muslims and non-Muslims alike

Alhamdulillah (all praise is for God), we are fortunate to have the beautiful Islamic Center of Morgantown masjid (mosque) in Morgantown in which to pray and participate in community activities. The MSA office is centrally located in the WVU Mountainlair and is a convenient place to pray or study between classes. Please explore this website in order to locate the ICM Masjid, download prayer times, and keep up to date with the latest MSA announcements and activities, many of which are mentioned in Al-Resala, our regular newsletter. Feel free to contact the Executive Committee with your ideas and questions. The MSA welcomes new Muslim and non-Muslim students, both locally and internationally.
