Albert Wrublesky
Lecturer - Percussion
As a specialist in drum set, Al Wrublesky serves as Lecturer in Percussion at West Virginia University. He has performed with such artists as Ben Vereen, Lena Horne, Al Martino, The Temptations, Maureen McGovern, Gladys Knight and the Pips, as well as such jazz artists as Randy Purcell, Joe Negri, John Wilson, Danny Cohn, Joe Dallas, and Bobby Negri.
Mr. Wrublesky received his degrees from West Virginia University and has extensive commercial recordings for several local Pittsburgh businesses. His performance experience includes the Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet Orchestras as well as serving as the principal percussionist with the Civic Light Opera Orchestra in Pittsburgh.
