I. EXPECTATIONS:

In preparing to attend the festival it is extremely important to work on the music we have sent out.  There will be other works on the program that you will be seeing for the first time on Friday 29 February.  Preparing what we are sending out now will give us time to read and learn these other works.  The better your preparation, the higher the level of your performance.  Please consult with your director/teachers for any assistance you might need in preparation.

II. AUDITION PROCEDURES

After registration you will be directed to the audition rooms.  Please wait patiently until it is your turn to audition.  Auditions excerpts will be chosen from among the packet of music you are receiving.  (Those designated by your teachers as Violin I prepare first parts, Violin II designees prepare second parts.)
