- FALL FESTIVALS - Recitals and interactive sessions based on themes such as American music, dance music, and music of other countries.
- PEDALS & BOWS & MORE - An ensemble extravaganza utilizing multiple pianos, strings, and woodwinds. This grand affair is held biennially.
- SPRING AUDITIONS and SOLOS - Adjudicated solos where students challenge themselves with the best repertoire.
- TECHNIQUE, THEORY, and AURAL TESTING - Graded levels of test given annually to assess our students' study of music and keyboard fundamentals.
- COMPETITIONS FOR SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT - Annual competitions are held in performance and composition at the state, regional, and national levels for our students of exceptional accomplishment. Our District is frequently represented in these competitions in the areas of piano, voice, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and chamber ensembles.
