Who are WVMTA Members?

Our members are an integral part of the musical life of our community. We are private teachers, public school teachers, WVU artist faculty members, WVU Community Music Program faculty members, orchestra members, church musicians, performers, composers, and jazz musicians. We strongly believe in the value of music study, in it's intrinsic benefits, and in the personal rewards that every person can enjoy in a life which includes music.

We Welcome Teachers and Supporters of Music!

The West Virginia Music Teachers' Association is affiliated with the Music Teachers' National Association. Membership is open to all music teachers committed to furthering the art of music.
