Teaching Luncheons
During the academic year the Native American Studies Program, the Center for Black Culture, and the Center for Women's Studies co-sponsor a series of teaching lunches. These lunch sessions are open to the public, and are intended to offer new perspectives on topics such as multiculturalism and social justice, among others. Past teaching lunches have included the following presentations, "Talking Leaves: Teaching Strategies from Native America," facilitated by Dr. Ellesa Clay High, and "Reflections on Teaching Race, Racism, and Race Relations in Higher Education," facilitated by Dr. Katherine Bankole.
