Tired of doing the same old thing during Spring Break? Want to do
something exciting and worthwhile?
For the past two years a group of WVU
students have traveled to Jamaica and Haiti where they assisted several
organization and experienced the life in a Third World Country.
There was a little fun too!
Plans this year are for two adventures. One to Jamaica and a second to Mingo County, WV. Service in Mingo County will be to make home repairs in the rural communit and assist at the food pantry, local Head Start and after-school program. In Jamaica there will be work groups that will rotate through various works sites: Hospital, school, soup kitchen, and nursing home.
This trip is
for faculty, staff and students.
