GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS
Graduate assistantships are available with WVU athletics (football, volleyball/crew, tennis/cheerleading, men's soccer/swimming, baseball/wrestling/track & field), local universities (Waynesburg College, Fairmont State University), local high schools (A-AAA in West Virginia and A-AAAA in Pennsylvania) and club/intramurals for qualified individuals only in the two-year program. Assistantships provide a stipend of approximately $8,280 - $11,040 depending on the GA assignments. In addition, a tuition waiver is available for the academic year and Summer ll session (between your first and second year). The tuition waiver only covers tuition. The student is responsible for special fees, which will vary depending on the options selected. The selection process for assistantships begins in early February and continues until all positions are filled. Only those applicants who have been admitted to the program will be considered for an on-campus personal interview in mid February to early March.
