Received $10,000 from President and Provost to form a working committee of Sport Management, Journalism, and Business & Economics faculty to explore the feasiblity of establishing a Sport IndustryInstitute at West Virginia University.
1995 Monongalia County Health Department Child Immunization Grant Proposal
Co-author of $80,203 federal and state funded grant proposal which was submitted to and currently is under review by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services. Effective date of grant: January 1, 1995.
1993-94 Strategic Planning Initiative
Grant proposal submitted to WVU Provost William Vehse to enhance the School of Physical Education computer laboratory. The proposal requested $55,000 to support the purchase of the LANKIT System from IBM Corporation. Date of proposal submission: October 30, 1992.
Paciolan Systems, Inc. (PSI) Software and Service Support Grant
Awarded $48,000 in software support from PSI to establish a "first-ever" computer training laboratory for Sport Management students. In addition, PSI provides service support for the computer laboratory facility and software totaling $775/month. Effective date of software and service support grant: July 1, 1992.
The Ultimate Corporation
Awarded $69/month service contract grant for the ULT/ix Operating System to be used in the Paciolan Systems, Inc. (PSI) Computer Training Laboratory. Effective date of grant: August 1, 1992.
