Current Officers of PATS in 2001

The Constitution of the Professional Association for Technological Studies designates five organizational positions, consisting of four officers -- a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer -- as well as a Faculty Advisor (a non-officer position).  Following are the position holders in 2001:

    Nancy Reese, President
    Laura Adams, Vice President
    Gerry Newlon, Secretary
    Mark Allen, Treasurer
    Dr. Neal Shambaugh, Advisor
Our heartfelt thanks to Amy Van Zant for editing and managing the production of our recent issues of the Newsletter; to Rodolfo Argueta for Co-coordinating through the first half of 1999; to the PATS officers for 1998: Cheryl Taylor and Robin Spitznogle, and to the officers for 1996-97: Marcia Marcolini, President (and originator of our web site); Cheryl Taylor, Vice President (and co-organizer with Marcia of the Spring 1997 campus panel presentation on "Technology and the Environment"); Cheryl Williams, Treasurer and interim Secretary (and layout editor of the Newsletter); and, Dr. Edward Pytlik, Faculty Advisor (who continues to guide us with his valuable expertise).  Thanks also retrospectively to Bryan Maser for his Newsletter writing and his formative work on the organization of PATS.  And appreciation to Lynn Dombrowski, Allen Bayles and all the former officers as well as members, past and present, who have contributed to making PATS a viable, educational association.
