SGA Wellness Week includes walking challenge

Sunday's 5K Heart Walk is one of many activities WVU student government leaders have planned for Wellness Week (Sept. 2-6). One of the highlights of the week will be a walking competition among SGA, the WVU Center for Civic Engagement and the President's Office. Beginning Sunday (Sept. 2), participants will keep track of their distances each day, and the group that logs the most steps during the week will be named the walk-off champions.

The objective of this friendly competition is to bring awareness to the benefits of exercise and healthy living.
