Beta Theta Pi and the snowboard club are hosting a snowboard rail jam/party in which proceeds benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. $5. Anyone is welcome to bring their board and hit a down rail with us. Check the Facebook Event for any other details.

Upcoming Meeting
This Tuesday there will be a brief club meeting to discuss the Movember party, collect $40 deposits for the Wisp trip (see below), and distribute Snowshoe season pass forms if you missed last Thursday. Here are the specifics:
WHAT: Brief Club Meeting
WHEN: Tuesday Nov. 10th, 2009
WHERE: Monongahela Room of the Mountainlair
TIME: 8-9 PM
Weekend Wisp Trip
We are planning on booking a 50 person lodge near Wisp from February 5th to the 7th. If you have a pass to Wisp, the total price is $129. If you need lift tickets, the price is $189. These costs include "family style meals for breakfast and dinner." Please bring a $40 deposit to the meeting on Tuesday so we can book it asap. Don't worry about transportation if you don't have a means of getting to Wisp - we'll find you someone to carpool with.

Snowshoe Season Pass Sale
Tomorrow (Thursday) is the Snowshoe season pass sale for club members. If you are interested in getting a pass, here's what you need to know:
WHAT: $220 Unlimited Season Pass to Snowshoe
WHEN: Thursday Nov. 5th, 2009
WHERE: Kanawha Room of the Mountainlair
TIME: 7-9 PM
COST: $220
REMEMBER: You'll only need to make it to Snowshoe ~5 days this season to pay it off. Definitely worth it if you have the time to go.

Just reminding everyone that the Wisp season pass sale is Thursday. They will print your pass there on the spot. Come any time between 8PM and 10PM. You can pay club dues at the meeting as well.

2009 Nationals Results
WVU got some recognition with a pair of 3rd place finishes in slopestyle and halfpipe. As expected, our boarder cross and GS results were pathetic, so we wound up with 4th overall. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
