On Thursday March 22, 2007 at 12:00 PM. The SSA participated in the WVU Center for Black Culture, Multicultural Programs with a movie about Saudi women. The discussion led by Asmaa Alshuaifan, SSA member and women activities coordinator.
The SSA-WVU sponsered the "International tea event", which was held at the Office of International Students & Scholars at E. Moore Hall on Thursday 02/15/2007 at 4:00 p.m.
Brother Nazeeh Alothmani from University of Pittsburgh gave a short speak about "Reflections of Saudi Student in a Plane coming to USA".
We presented visual demonstration of Saudi Arabia and introduced dates, ma'amool, pies, nuts, Saudi Coffee (Northen Part Theme), and diffrrent kinds of tea.
We appreciate and thank those who came to the event. Also, we thank the OISS and its staff for giving us the apportunity to participate and represent the culture of Saudi Arabia.
Special thanks for those who provided the food, cofee, and teas.

Eid ul-Adhaa
The SSA-WVU invited all members and saudi students in morgantown to come for this celebration.
Eid ul-Adhaa celebration was held on Sunday December 31, 2006 at Quality Inn Hotel in Star City.
We had a wonderful gathering and we greeted each other. We thank the guests for accepting our invitation. There were different activities for men, women, and kids. We ask Allah to reward those who cooked from their (Ud-haiyah).
It took place at Chestnut Ridge Park on Saturday 11/18/2006 from 2:00 p.m. until the next day, 12:00 p.m.
Eid Al-Futir celebration was held on Monday October 23, 2006 at Quality Inn Hotel in Star City. Three community rooms were booked for male students, female students, and kids.
Particular thanks for the Cultural mission of Saudi Arabia at Washington, DC for funding this celebration. Special thanks for members, Awad Al hwiti and Mohammed Joharji for their contributions in this event.
All praises and thank are for Allah (SWT) for giving us the ability to sereve the community.
Ramadan Iftar for muslim female students at WVU.
The SSA-WVU sponsored one of the daily if-tar for female students. It was held at the Morgantown muslim activity center, a.k.a. (the old Mosue), on October 18th, (26th of Ramadan, 1427).
This was part of the SSA women activities to contribute to the Morgantown Muslim Community.
The If-tar was sponsored by the active members, Asmaa Alshuaifan, Ghadah Alshwameen, Misa Al Shamaan, and the honorary member Hiba Fathi.
The SSA highly appreciates their efforts. May Allah rewards them for their contributions.
The SSA participated in the International Festival at West Virginia University on Monday , Oct 16th, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The participation was successful. We represented the culture and moderization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We highly appreciate those who volunteered for the event. Special thanks for the student, Mohammed Joharji, the coordinator, and his assisstants, Fawaz Allughaisim, Abdulmajeed Alshammari, Bader Alkolaiby, and Megren Almegren. Also, we would like to express our appreciations to the others Saudi Students who stoped by the booth.
Finally, we thanks the Cultural Mission of Saudi Arabia, in Washington, DC, for providing us with materials.
