Staff Information
Vivien Exartier is a native from Dijon, capital of Burgundy (and of the mustard!), France. Vivien, a graduate of Burgundy Business School also holds a master's degree in political science from Oklahoma State University. Vivien is currently working on his doctorate in political science at WVU. Vivien started serving youth at OSU through the Upward Bound Program and went on to run Capitol Hill high school internships and international programs in Washington, D.C. with the Washington Workshops Foundation. He has been committed to multicultural issues at WVU since day one. Before helping Cecilia Rollins start multicultural programming at WVU, Vivien served as a graduate assistant for the Center for Black Culture. A defender of transatlantic friendship (do not mention 'freedom fries' to him!), Vivien will always be happy to discuss wines, travel, and films.Ayumi Tsuda was born and raised in Kanagawa, Japan. She came to the U.S. for her first year as an exchange student in Kingsway High School, Swedsboro, NJ. Missing the U.S. too much, she returned a few years later and chose WVU for a bachelor's degree in accounting. As a true Mountaineer, Ayumi decided to stay for her Master of Professional Accountancy program at WVU. Last year, Ayumi was the president of the International Students Organization, and she certainly knows a lot about different cultures around campus! Ayumi is a real 'foodie' and, besides her skills for preparing sushi, loves cooking and trying all kinds of international dishes. Recently, Ayumi decided to take on one of her old ambitions: learning salsa!
Debbi Pariser, a native of Manchester, New Hampshire, is presently pursuing a Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at WVU. Debbi has worked with students from kindergarten through college as a teacher and counselor. Before moving to Morgantown in 1989 with her husband and two children, Debbi lived in Washington, DC for 13 years, where she taught and also helped run a stationery business. She joined the staff of the Office of Multicultural Programs as a doctoral intern in August 2007. Debbi assisted Cecilia in planning, programming and advertising. Debbi earned an A.S. in early childhood education from Lasell College, a B.S. in elementary education from Boston University, and an M. Ed. in counseling from Northeastern University. Debbi is also the Assistant Resident Faculty Leader for Dadisman and Stalnaker halls. She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, going to films and cultural events, and spending time with her family.
BreAnn Eadie, Multicultural Programs work study, is a sophomore at WVU where she is a Pre-Pharmacy student. She commutes from La Belle, Pennsylvania, which is about thirty miles north of Morgantown. In her spare time, she likes to ski and dance. She loves traveling, especially to the beach. Her future plans include graduating from pharmacy school and living in Morgantown.
