President's Newsletter:

Dear Alumni, Members, Supporters, & Friends,

Thank you for visiting our newly re-modeled webpage. Our webmaster has done an excellent job. This year has been a good one for the WVU Collegiate 4-H Club. The fall semester was very active and quite exciting! See below for a list of activities our organization has planned and participated in. Now beginning the spring semester, members will still be busy!

January 20th through 22nd we will be performing an event where High School 4-Hers from around the state visit WVU to see what college, and particularly this university, has to offer. The promotions committee predominantly has done an amazing job coordinating Host Weekend.

The famed annual T-shirt design is being fashioned by creative minds and our fundraising gurus. Look for WVU Collegiate 4-H members to be proudly donning original sweatshirts and selling the popular original T-shirts this summer.

Loose ends are being tied on the WV All Colligate Account. Check back soon to see guidelines for the committee formation/continuation as well as applications for funds.

Many other activities will be planned and completed this semester. Those who cannot make it to meetings can still stay in touch with the club's moves by subscribing to the listserv. The state 4-H leader and some alumni are even clued into this tool.

Personally, I have been continually impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm of this club's members. Volunteering time and responsibility, members take projects to the next level. There are a number of individuals in this club that possess the great combination of being a leader and a team player. The support of the greater 4-H community, friendship between members, and the collaboration of ideas and individuals combine to create, what I believe is a great student organization. Thank you for your interest in WVU Collegiate 4-H.

Sincerely,

Claire Ann Brown
WVU Collegiate 4-H President
