MAE 466: Spacecraft Dynamics

Course Description

Development of rigid-body equations of motion for aerospace vehicles. Introduction to spacecraft attitude representations, including direction cosine matrices, Euler angles, and quaternions. Brief discussion of airplane flight dynamics. Discussion of attitude dynamics, stabilization, and control in the presence of external torques. Brief discussion of attitude hardware.
