PHYS 211: Introduction to Mathematical Physics

Course Description

Review of basic calculus with application to Physics; e.g. vector calculus and Maxwell's Equations, Fourier Series and the vibrating string, eigenvalues, eigenvectors and coupled oscillators. Complex algebra, linear algebra, differential equations, practical differential equations, Bessel functions, Legendre Polynomials, and Fourier Transforms.
