Choose a First-Year Trip
Start your college experience like a real Mountaineer. Our optional Adventure WV First-Year Trips are peer-led, adventure-based programs that will prepare you for life at WVU. All trips are $95 or less and take place in June, July or August. Registration opens in February 2023 and is first-come, first-served for admitted students who have paid the academic deposit.Learn About First-Year Trips
Apply for Promise
The Promise Scholarship for West Virginia residents is sponsored by the state of West Virginia. To be considered, you must complete the Promise application and submit the FAFSA by March 1.Learn About Promise
