What makes WVU such a great value?
Obtaining a degree that has national recognition for a very reasonable cost. Research opportunities at the undergraduate level across all disciplines. academic scholarships based on high school GPA and/or test scores that are stackable with the Promise Scholarship.
What are some things you would share with a student that they probably wouldn’t know about WVU?
WVU offers state of the art facilities for students to gain real-world, hands-on experience. Center for Community Engagement allows students to give back to the community while attending WVU.
What advice do you give to students who are preparing for college?
Apply early in your senior year to allow yourself time to complete other enrollment steps. Complete the FAFSA. Apply for Promise. Try to enjoy the process! Work with me to make the process go as smoothly as possible.
What else would you like for us to know?
WVU truly has something for everyone and there is a place for everyone at WVU. There are also multiple pathways to a WVU degree. Some students may come directly to Morgantown from high school, while others may start at Keyser or Beckley. Not everyone’s path looks the same, but it all ends with a WVU degree.
