Favorite Professor: Dr. Elizabeth Oppe. She made every class engaging and fun.

Fun Fact: I am colorblind.

Hobbies: I enjoy playing tennis, photography and playing video games.

Advice for Freshmen: When an opportunity comes your way, say YES!

Major: History and Slavic and East European Studies

Hometown: New Martinsville, WV

Favorite Professor: Dr. Lisa DiBartolomeo, because she teaches some of the most interesting content; she fosters such a safe, reliable learning environment and presents every opportunity for her students to succeed.

Fun Fact: I almost went to Aviation Tech school before I chose a four-year college.

Hobbies: A few of my hobbies are embroidery, reading terrible young romance books and scrolling through TikTok.

Advice for Freshmen: Take classes that you normally wouldn't be interested in because you never know where it will lead you. I chose a random General Education Foundations class (Russian Fairytales) and it led me into declaring my second major, Slavic and East European Studies.

Favorite Professor: Ashley Coker-Cranney. Her passion for the subject and her innovative way of teaching ignited my own excitement for the class more.

Fun Fact: I can sing with my mouth closed.

Hobbies: I love thrifting, writing and doing anything outside.

Advice for Freshmen: Take advantage of any free events WVU holds. They're super fun and have really good food too.
