Welcome, new transfer students! We have an NSO process just for you.
Mandatory.
You must meet with an academic adviser by email, phone or in-person to register for your first semester classes. If you have not already done so, contact your adviser now.

Say cheese and show us your best smile! Review the Mountaineer Card (WVU student ID) photo submission details and submit your photo as soon as possible. Your ID photo should be approved before you come to campus.
Optional.
You’re invited to complete the Transfer NSO modules to help with your transition to WVU. You can complete these at your own pace and refer to them as needed during your orientation process.
Highly encouraged.
If you want to attend our in-person Orientation, you can register now! NSO on Friday, August 15, will have programming especially for transfer students.
