What makes WVU such a great value?

Students are participating in majors/programs with equal quality to other flagships at much lower cost. They are receiving access to R1 level research. They are connecting with faculty and staff at lower student/faculty ratio to carry them through career exploration and opportunity. They have access to quality facilities and research centers as well as a Level 1 trauma ER and hospital. They also are being provided a vibrant student life with a fun-loving campus, D1 known athletics, and traditional Mountaineer values.

What are some things you would share with a student that they probably wouldn’t know about WVU?

I always share the perks of our academic programs. I share a few awesome facts - mostly about access to research, partnership, or facilities we own. Something that makes each program stand out.

What advice do you give to students who are preparing for college?

Apply to more than 1 school. It is not contractual. Visit campus to find your fit.
