For Everyone

ALL students and employees are expected to:

Wear a Mask Where Required

Everyone must wear a mask or a face covering inside WVU System buildings and facilities and on campus transportation. 😷

Stay in Touch

It's more important than ever to check your email and answer phone calls.

The University will send public health updates to your WVU email. You may also receive calls from health officials as part of COVID-19 contact tracing.

For Unvaccinated Individuals

If you are not fully vaccinated or did not verify your COVID-19 vaccination with the University by Aug. 1, you are expected to:

Comply With Required Testing

Until you are fully vaccinated and report your vaccination to the University, you are required to:

Follow Quarantine Guidelines

If you are not vaccinated, you must quarantine:

  • for at least 14 days following close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19
  • for five days following out-of-state travel. Exception: Individuals coming from out of state to begin the fall semester are not required to quarantine.

WVU strongly recommends that you get vaccinated for COVID-19.
