Campus Bus Service

All times are approximate; we do our best to stay on schedule, but these times cannot be guaranteed.  Times and frequency of departures/arrivals are subject to change.

Fall and Spring Semesters

Monday - Friday

Coliseum to Engineering PRT Station:
7:30 am to 5:00 pm, every 10 minutes
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, every 15 minutes

Saturday

No WVU Bus Service
Mountain Line services is available

Sunday

Full campus bus service every 45 minutes from 9:15 am to 2:30 pm
Starting at the Health Sciences Center -- 9:15 pm to 2:30 am, every 45 minutes

Evening Bus Schedule

Only Mountain Line after 6:00 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday
No evening campus bus service--Mountain Line service is available

Summer Bus Schedule

Monday - Friday

Coliseum to Engineering PRT Station - Shuttle
7:15 am to 5:15 pm, every 15 minutes

Bus Passenger Rules

  • All passengers must remain seated when the bus is moving.
  • Eating or drinking on the bus is prohibited
  • Open drink containers on the bus are prohibited.
  • Our buses are alcohol free.
  • Our buses are smoke free.
  • Due to sanitary reasons, smokeless tobacco and spitting are prohibited.
  • For your personal safety, please keep your arms and head inside the bus.
  • Aisles must be kept open for entry and exit.
  • All of the rules cannot be listed here, so please cooperate with the bus driers. Our drivers are concerned about your safety.

No campus bus service is offered on University holidays and break periods unless otherwise announced.

Students, Faculty, and Staff can ride the Mountain Line Bus for free with a valid WVU ID.

The WVU Bus Service also offers bus service to the Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. Please refer to the Parents Club Web site http://parentsclub.wvu.edu/ for more information.
