Thanks for attending! Now that you know more about WVU, here's what you can do next.

1. Complete your application for admission.

You have an application fee waiver for attending our event, so why wait? The sooner you apply to WVU, the sooner you’ll receive a decision and can proceed with other admission steps, like choosing housing. Didn’t attend a launch week session to get a fee waiver? You can still get one by attending our virtual Tour Guide Live.

2. Review WVU's admission requirements.

Use these links to find the requirements that apply to you: first-time freshman requirements, transfer requirements and international requirements.

3. Visit WVU in person or virtually!

We have many ways to explore WVU, from campus tours to virtual events and conversations with student ambassadors.

4. Investigate WVU scholarships.

We offer scholarships for in-state, out-of-state, international and transfer students. Use our calculator to estimate your scholarship eligibility.

5. Curious what academic experiences are in your future?

Check out majors and potential minors to see all the ways you can customize your degree at WVU.

6. Experience campus without coming to Morgantown!

Schedule a tour guide live session. These 45-minute livestream tours with our student guides are available for the Evansdale and Downtown areas of campus.

7. Invite your family to join the club.

The Mountaineer Parents Club, that is. Parents Club members receive special info and event invites just for Mountaineer families.

8. Do your Mountaineer homework!

Learn the words to “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and discover even more WVU traditions you will be part of.

9. Visit Morgantown.

Our hometown is worth a visit on its own (but don’t forget to tour campus while you’re here!). Consistently ranked among the nation’s top college towns, Morgantown is known for its big-city amenities and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Here, school spirit isn’t confined to campus – it’s a community effort!
