Biology: A Real Life 101

5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Join Dr. Katrina Stewart for a home-style and hands-on approach to doing science. During this mock lab, you’ll learn about the Department of Biology’s introductory courses and see the scientific process in action — from experiment design and execution to presenting your findings, all while exploring your own interests and passions.

College of Education and Human Services Lecture: Universal Connections with Assistive Technology

For children with special needs, equal access to classroom materials, authentic interactions with peers and learning activities is critical in their ability to reach their potential. This interactive discussion with the College of Education and Human Services will highlight how assistive technology and classroom modifications can support all learners in growing to their potential.

Experience Honors: Honors College Meet and Greet

Meet and mingle with representatives from the Honors College, Office of Undergraduate Research and the ASPIRE Office. WVU is an R1 research institution with some incredible perks, and the resources we’re going to talk about are a big part of that. Our students have the opportunity to develop the hands-on skills and real-life experiences they need — outside the classroom — to be successful in their future careers.

ROTC Opportunities: Army and Air Force

Office of Accessibility Services

The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) is dedicated to enhancing the educational opportunities for students with temporary and permanent disabilities. To ensure access to University programs, accessibility specialists work individually with students to help them achieve academic success.

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion seeks to provide university-wide education, support, accountability and leadership on issues relating to diversity to the campus and community. Crime Scene 101: An Inside Look at WVU Forensics

Join Professor Bob O'Brien for a lecture and a sneak peek behind the "scene" of a crime scene located inside our crime scene complex houses. Step into the world of a CSI as we join students documenting a mock crime scene. Get a feel for what you will have access to during your time with the Forensic and Investigative Science program at WVU.
