Learn About Your Major

At Discover WVU Open House, you can talk face-to-face with members of your academic area who can answer questions about the classes you’ll take, careers and internships, grad school options and more. Not sure about your major? This event is a great venue for exploring your options and seeking advice from experts.

To learn about academic life, you could:

  • Attend the academic session for the WVU college or school that offers your major, or one of the the majors you’re interested in.
  • Walk through the area of campus that houses your major and check out nearby residence halls.
  • Ride the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) to experience what it’s like going to class like a real Mountaineer!

Questions to consider when planning your day:

  • What questions do I have about admissions, financial aid and housing?
  • What are the deciding factors for me when choosing a college?
