Directions and Parking

Visit our website for turn-by-turn directions to the Downtown Visitors Center.

For GPS devices, use 1 Waterfront Place, Morgantown, WV 26501.

You will receive a ticket stub upon entry to the One Waterfront Place parking garage. We will provide a validation ticket to you in the Visitors Center after you check in.

If our garage is full, please park in the Waterfront Place Hotel Event Center garage next door.

Submit Your Application

High school seniors who are admitted to WVU can participate in the Go First Friday Signing Day experience, which includes an exclusive giveaway and photo opportunity.

But first, you'll need to apply! Submit your application as soon as possible. It takes 3-4 weeks to receive an admissions decision.

WVU is a test-optional institution, so test scores are not required for admission.

Event Schedule

Check your confirmation email to see which event time you’re registered for: 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or noon.

Checklist

Check-in

Beginning 30 minutes prior to your event time, arrive at the Downtown Visitors Center. You will check in on the first floor of One Waterfront Place.

Tour guide

Kickoff Presentation and Tour

At your registered event time, we'll start your kickoff presentation and provide you with all the details you need to know about joining the Mountaineer family.

Your tour will include bus and walking portions and will explore unique areas of campus that help create the unforgettable WVU student experience.

Roommates

Tailgate Reception

After your campus tour, you'll return to the Visitors Center to enjoy light tailgating snacks and meet current students and representatives from different WVU departments and academic colleges.

Tour guides will happily share their favorite places to eat or further explore in Morgantown, and admissions representatives will be available to answer any additional questions.
