Can international students work during their studies?

International Student Employment

All in-status F-1 and J-1 students are eligible to engage in part-time work on-campus. Immigration guidelines state "a student may work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session; full time during those periods when school is not in session or during the annual break." For more information, see the international student employment page.
