Types of Aid
WVU offers merit-based and need-based aid. Financial aid is available to both in-state and out-of-state students. Scholarships are the primary form of merit-based aid offered, while need-based aid includes loans, grants and Federal Work-Study. Learn about the different types of financial aid.
