What if I’m awarded the Promise Scholarship after my bill is due?

If you are not on the West Virginia Promise Scholarship roster when the bill is due, you’re responsible for paying the balance due by the due date to avoid late fees. If you receive Promise after paying your bill, you’ll receive a refund if your account has a negative balance due.

If you are on the state’s Promise Scholarship roster when the bill is due, the scholarship will be included in your financial aid. The scholarship will be listed as an anticipated payment towards your balance due as long as you are enrolled full-time.
