Register for Virtual NSO

Your Virtual NSO experience will include:

A self-paced, online program.

You’ll start with an online program that covers everything you need to know, from academics and student services to accessing your student account and technology resources.

Follow-up calls to complete your fall class schedule.

Next you’ll talk with an Orientation Leader who will help you prepare for (and schedule) your advising appointment. During your advising call, you’ll work with a professional adviser to finalize your fall class schedule.

Online conversations with current students, faculty and staff.

Join us online for chats, webinars and fun events throughout the summer where you’ll (virtually) meet fellow Mountaineers, get immediate answers to all your questions and learn about student life from those who’re already living it.

All major changes must be completed before registering for Virtual NSO. If you are considering changing your major, please contact your Admissions Counselor.
